FAIR TAX Meeting need Your Opinion

I am going to go to a meeting in our community it is called a FAIR TAX meeting. I googled it and it said it was a sales tax thing. Does anyone here have an opinion on this before I go to the meeting tomorrow to learn more about it. The tax is suppose to take the place of the Income tax. Can you imagine the Fair Tax and the Value Added tax on everything. I can see the day when an Apple will cost 20.00 dollars and 99% of it will be tax. Heeellp! What questions should I have for them, thanks for any help you folks can give me.
Give them a copy

Explain where EVERY SINGLE PENNY of the income tax goes. Let them know that it is NOT building, churches, bridges, streets, schools, etc...
My guess is they don't realize that the FED is a private corporation.
i look at the flat tax like this...
we will still be funding the beast we hate: the federal government. so to me dropping the income tax and replacing it with the flat tax is like telling the person who's robbing your home you don't like the fact they're using a gun, you would rather they use a baseball bat. it's still theft no matter how you look at it.

Just remember 10 % of 10.00 means a lot more than 10% of 1000.00...Flat tax is no good. Graduated flat tax ,without deductions is the way to go. IF you must.

you should bring up the possibility of abolishing the income tax and rather than replacing it, cutting spending. However, you shouldn't stick your neck out on this issue. It isnt that important.

Ask them, how do they intend to pay it?
Inform them that you can not actually PAY any tax using an instrument of debt, a note.
Educate them about the fact that they are not using real money in the first place.
We all understand this, the vast majority of the population does not.
Bring along a silver eagle, most have probably never even heard of one.
Seeing is believing, as they say.
Once they realize that there is an actual real hard money out there, which can be used, they will listen, instead of thinking that you are nuts.
No offense intended, I'm very aware of how widespread the honest ignorance is.
Make sure they have a clear
Make sure they have a clear plan to FIRST repeal the income tax.
Look at who is promoting it
Look at who is promoting it and that should give you a clue.
