every time this subject of gov't controlled medicine comes up.
It's the genesis.
That's the mark where the prices started going up and the problems began, and it's a perfect tool to illustrate how the gov't created this whole mess with the creation of Medicare and Medicaid.
That was when the arms-length relationship between patient and doctor was severed by the government, and it was all downhill from there.
LBJ saw how FDR was able to "stick us to the tar-baby", with his socialist programs of the Raw Deal, er... I mean the New Deal.
So, then LBJ figured he could get another bunch of socialist tar-babies going in his Failed Society, er... I mean Great Society.
And the intention of it from the very start, was for it to evolve into this very kind of mess it's in now, so that some future socialist like Obama could finish up the job of co-opting another major segment of the private sector, and move forward toward total communism.
And that's exactly what's happening right now.

It is PRIVATE INSURANCE COMPANIES that have come between doctors and their patients.

Private insurance companies are contracted by the patient.
Their aim is to keep costs low, so as to be able to provide attractive premiums, and be competitive.
The gov't bureaucracies have no such motivation. They just tax more, allow more waste, fraud, and abuse, and add an unnecessary layer of bureaucracy that soaks up money that would have gone straight to the doctor.
Prior to Medicare and Medicaid, very few people even had medical insurance, because they could afford to pay as they went, and everybody was happy.
The minute that the gov't got involved, everything went to hell. There was no "health care problem" until gov't got its fat hands into it. Everybody could afford it back then.

Medicare... the beginning...
Few people have the courage to speak out against socialized medicine in all forms including medicare and medicaid.
I mention Medicare and Medicaid
