Awhile back I stumbled upon this and printed it for the fridge. A couple of my roommates would always give me grief over the chickens I kept in the backyard. They didn't know that it was their patriotic duty!

Dimitri's in very hot water!
Arrogant Rothfeld, & why you get all that spam from Rand, Ron & the C4L asking for dough. This gives an excellent back story of the campaign management.
I think Sorenson is just the beginning. He's not going to want to rot in prison, so he's going to sing like a bird. Found some recent goods on Dimitri when I was researching Fusaro, then I found this article on Rothfeld. I've taken political training from him & he's excellent, but not THAT excellent - to the tune of millions! The "Slate" article also give you the backstory on the Ron Paul, Inc. cast. Very interesting & it makes me feel like an even more foolish person for thinking anyone managed by these________ could win a presidential nomination....
Deficits Don't Matter Again
6:15-11:34 Discussion of the renewed focus on the Fed's policy towards interest rates now that they claim they will stop printing dollars in October. It seems to be designed to take the focus off the $4 Trillion that they printed. The inflationistas have been drowned out by the recoveristas who claim QE worked, there is no inflation and the economy is improving and the stock market is up!

Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum on Thursday sharply criticized fellow Republican Rand Paul, accusing him of advocating a foreign policy similar to “Obama’s failed isolationism.”
Why is the United States bombing the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS)? The obvious answer is that the US wants to kick ISIS out of the territory it conquered. But that answer raises a more fundamental question: Why is it worth going to war to boot the violent Islamist group out of land that's thousands of miles away from the US?
There are two obvious answers. One is humanitarian: ISIS is evil, and they shouldn't be allowed to slaughter civilians and destabilize the region with impunity. Another is self-interested: ISIS' caliphate is the world's greatest safe-haven for violent jihadis, the kind of place that could spawn another 9/11-style plot.
I took my little kid to the emergency room this morning. There was a black armored car outside and they asked to look in my purse at the security check point as I entered. I put my bag down and opened it, and then snapped it closed and said this is offensive, I'm here to take my child to the emergency room. I walked passed them and stood in line to check in. I heard them talking about me to their supervisor as I stood in line. After I checked in, a second guy approached and said I was supposed to go through security.
Apparently not all city councils are thrilled with the idea of their local police department driving around “protecting” their streets with mine resistant, ambush protected vehicles straight off the battlefields in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The city council of Davis, California, a town of about 66,000 people near Sacramento, has now adopted a resolution to “tank the tank” as one protester put it, after a large crowd of concerned citizens showed up to the meeting. CBS13 reports:

In this episode of the Lions of Liberty Podcast, I welcome Lions of Liberty contributing writer - and Daily Paul's own! - Derrel Walters to the show! Derrel describes how he first became acquainted with the ideas of liberty and how he approaches discussing politics with others. Derrel and I discuss the importance of individual rights, how people might organize in a society that respects and understands them, and how we can change the world through peaceful and logical advocacy for liberty.
Russia has now officially begun selling oil to China without using the U.S. dollar as the trade medium. This is the latest step in the death of the pero dollar, and a big step in the end of the U.S. Dollar as a reserve currency.
When that happens the remaining 3% of the dollars original value will be wiped out, and financial collapse will occur.
The writing is on the wall, all we need do is to read it!
I have not been paying close attention to politics for a while now. I have not even had regular internet access for several months. While the local paper is very prompt about letting me know who went to Ontario to go shopping or who had a grandchild up for a visit, they really don't cover much news beyond this little corner of the world. Before delving into the summer on the farm, I had heard rumor of ruckus at the State Convention a "floor fight." Of course "Ron Paul" or his supporters are never mentioned, we are lumped in with "TEA Party" (which sort of gets under my skin...
