NY Sun: The Ron Paul Rebellion

"Surely there is a way to bring his voice into the national convention and the campaign that will follow it."
The Ron Paul Rebellion
August 8, 2012

It looks like quite a little revolt is brewing in Maine over what to do about the fact that the Republican state convention decided to send to Tampa a delegation composed of Ron Paul stalwarts. The Press Herald, in Portland, is fronting a story today saying that a compromise scheme being pressed by the state party chairman, a backer of Governor Romney, has been rejected by Dr. Paul’s supporters, setting the stage for what the Press Herald calls “a political showdown that could see the state lose its coveted delegate seats.” The Press Herald reports this could be sorted out later this week at a meeting of Republican leaders in Washington.

Conservatives Saying This Could Have Been The Moment Mitt Romney Lost The Election

Dear RNC, Repeat after me - "Doh!!!" No, wait, nevermind, just slap your forehead and hang your shaking heads...

The Mother of all "Conservative" campaign gaffes...

Fed and Treasury Irate at NY Bank Regulator's Vulgar Display of Public Diligence with Standard Chartered

Spitzer: If they shut me up, who'll take my place?

Lawsky: I will

The NY Banking regulators clearly do not understand the regulatory 'hands off' philosophy of Treasury and the Fed towards the pampered princes of finance and the privileged few.

This was supposed to have been privately settled amongst gentlemen with a gentle wristslap and a thorough coverup.

And of course this exposes the Federal government and their financerati as utter hypocrites, especially when they are stoking the fires of conflict.

Only the little people are meant to suffer for their country. For the favored few, everything is just another law-bending, money making opportunity.

Kurt Haskell Wins House of Representatives Primary in Michigan

Michigan attorney Kurt Haskell has beaten his opponent in the August 7 primary for a seat in the House of Representatives. Haskell defeated fellow Democrat Ruben Marquez and will face Republican Tim Walberg in November. Walberg is the current Representative for Michigan’s 7th congressional district.

Kurt Haskell came to public attention following the so-called underwear bomber incident on Christmas Day, 2009. He was on a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit when Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab feebly attempted to ignite PETN bomb. Haskell also witnessed a “sharp dressed man” ushering Abdulmutallab on the flight prior to the supposedly flubbed attack despite the fact the Nigerian did not have a passport.

“Every single fact that has come to light since the attempted bombing on Christmas Day directly indicates that the bomber was deliberately allowed to board the plane and that his attack would have succeeded if not for the alert and brave reactions of the passengers and flight crew,” Paul Jospeh Watson wrote for Infowars.com on December 27, 2009.

Bernanke’s Nightmare: Audit Pushed for Romney’s Platform

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke calls it his “nightmare scenario.” One of Mitt Romney’s top economic advisers called it “trouble.” Yet as they look to their national convention starting in Tampa on Aug. 27, Republicans are considering including a plank in their party platform calling for a full audit of the central bank.

Prodded by the failed primary bid of longtime Fed critic Ron Paul -- and the grassroots enthusiasm the Texas congressman’s cause inspired among bail-out weary Tea Party activists and small government advocates -- Republicans are entertaining a prospect that has long made them and some of their financial supporters cringe.

Paul, in an interview, warned that if Romney’s backers resist the effort, it could result in a politically distracting and messy fight in front of the national media. “It’s good economics and it’s good legislation, but it’s also good politics, because 80 percent of the American people agree with it,” Paul said. If Republican leaders “exclude it, I would think some of my supporters would be annoyed and feel strongly enough to take it to the floor under the rules.”

US Government Proposes Law Making It Illegal For Them To Kill You

Last Friday, US Congressman Dennis Kucinich introduced HR 6357, a bill which aims to ‘prohibit the extrajudicial killing of United States citizens’ by the federal government. In other words, in the Land of the Free, they need to pass a law to prevent the government from indiscriminately murdering its own citizens.

Now if this doesn’t give one reason to pause and consider the distortions of liberty that have taken place in western civilization, I don’t know what will. Think about it:

  • Does a free society send government hit men to eliminate anyone they perceive to be an enemy of the state?
  • Does a free society have hundreds of police agencies, each with the authority to deprive a man of his life, liberty and property in their sole discretion?
  • Does a free society have hundreds of thousands of laws, codes, rules, regulations, and policies which effectively criminalize nearly every aspect of one’s existence?
  • Does a free society lead the world in prison population?
  • Does a free society hunt down criminals and terrorists by treating its citizens like criminals and terrorists?
  • Does a free society tell its citizens what foods they are / are not allowed to consume?
  • Does a free society steal your money at gunpoint to buy bombs that they drop by remote control on brown people in faraway lands?

Obama fights ban on indefinite detention of Americans

Please share this article with anyone who is still an Obama supporter. He obviously has an agenda that underminds the freedoms of the nation.

The White House has filed an appeal in hopes of reversing a federal judge’s ruling that bans the indefinite military detention of Americans because attorneys for the president say they are justified to imprison alleged terrorists without charge.

The Brokered Convention Strategy

"However, neither would Mitt Romney. That’s the kicker, and what I would like to see…and that is still within the realm of possibility. A brokered convention would be a way of reaching our goal…but it could get messy. Here is how it would work:"
