Apparently CNN's South Carolina debate rules said the candidate must:
1. Be in top 4 in Iowa or New Hampshire
- and -
2. Poll 7% or higher in 3 national polls
Perry has done neither, yet they are letting him in the debate. Nice how they just arbitrarily ignore the rules. Imagine if Ron Paul didn't meet this.
(thanks for the video link, telepathic)
Jon Stewart showing he is one of the few sane voices in the media (even though his show is on Comedy Central!)
Great Video! Neil Cavuto explains how Ron Paul is a threat to Obama!
Make it go viral
I wonder if the reason Rush and Hannity's numbers are plummeting is because they call Ron Paul supporters "Liberals" or the "legalize drug crowd?"
That's certainly not me. I'm pretty sure most RP supporters are conservative.
I am 100% against drugs but think they should be left for the states and individuals to decide. But that's by far the least of my reasons for supporting Ron Paul.
Anyway. It's interesting to muse whether these talking head mainstream media types will ever accept the truth about our foreign policy and come Ron Paul's. If they want to stay relevant, they will have to. If they ever do, I'm sure they will say that that was their position the whole time and some idiots will believe it.
As evidenced by recent polling data, there is no more influential voice in South Carolina’s “First in the South” Republican presidential primary that U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint.
Thirty-one percent of SCGOP primary voters say they would be “more likely” to support a candidate backed by Demint – compared to just 14 percent who said they would be “more likely” to support a candidate based on S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley’s endorsement.
“One of the things that’s hurt the so-called conservative alternative is saying negative things about Ron Paul,” DeMint said Wednesday on a national radio show. “I’d like to see a Republican party that embraces a lot of the libertarian ideas.”
New Hampshire - now that you've given Dr. Paul strong second place, IT'S TIME TO GIVE SOUTH CAROLINA OUR RON PAUL SUPPLIES FOR THE WIN!
We need everything left over in NH: signs, bumper stickers, brochures, etc. They are going to be transported to South Carolina TOMORROW, THURSDAY, JANUARY 12, early in the morning.
NOTE that New Hampshire DOT said you can ALSO pick up other candidates' signs now - it is legal - so pick them up because we can re-purpose them, paint them over, etc - those are all valuable supplies!!
Please bring all the Ron Paul supplies you have left. Please collect all yard signs you can find, banners on overpasses you see, materials you have at home, etc!
Here are two drop-off locations - get the Ron Paul stuff you collect to one of these places ASAP:
Here's a video from YouTube from yesterday:
I'm an Air Force Veteran 03-07. Went to OEF (Bagram) twice in 05 & 06. I served my 4 got out, finished my associates, bachelors, and Masters all on the G.I. Bill and now I work in Hawaii. I get it.
Please work with past Obama supporters with soft gloves. They are disenchanted with the 'whole system' like we all once were. Offer your story of how you were going through the same things. Emphasize the wars, the endless wars and ask them, "Does war help the poor?" Ask, "Does causing inflation to save banks help the needy, who need to buy groceries and gas to get to work?" Relate to them the hope and enthusiasm you now have, since coming to Ron Paul's side.
Say, "We tried to give Democrats a chance to be different, end war, restore civil liberties, stop bailing out wall street and help the poor-but c'mon, we were duped." And end with, "I hope that you find the hope that I have once again".
