In his speech at the 2007 Boston Tea Party, Rand Paul said that in the first American Revolution,
The British scoffed at the American rabble. They laughed at the imperfect uniforms and tactics of the American soldiers. They laughed at retreat after retreat of the American army. They laughed right up until Yorktown...
Today, we are that American rabble. The disgruntled, the disillusioned, the cynical, the bereaved. Bereaved at the loss of Liberty. The Establishment, in their high rise, penthouse views, laughs at you. They laugh at us. The Ron Paul rabble.
Sending Rand Paul to the Senate this November will stop their laughter. We are all sons and daughters of the Ron Paul Revolution. We now have a chance to send one of our own to the Senate. We are closer than ever to a meaningful victory.
Here is the second half of that speech:
Nothing has changed since 2007 when Rand Paul uttered those words. The only difference is that the president he speaks of at 1:25 was Bush. The issues are the same. Rand is the same. He quotes his father at 4:30:
We must remember that achieving power is never the goal in a free society. Dissipation of power is the objective of those who truly love Liberty.
The objective remains the same.
With today's money bomb, let's send a message to the Establishment that we will not be ignored. That we are not just a motley band of disorganized protesters. The Ron Paul rabble is the Ron Paul Revolution! The Revolution rolls on!

A fantastic post from Alex Reagan (a Ron Paul supporter) at www.ilovegenerationx.com
Social Security is such BS.
"Social Security is not in crisis. We're going to have to make some modest adjustments in order to strengthen it. There are some fairly modest changes that could be made without resorting to any newfangled schemes that would continue Social Security for another 75 years, where everybody would get the benefits they deserve."
-Barack Obama, Aug. 18, 2010
Holy crap, where do I start? Now that I’ve taken my jaw off the floor, I can write my thoughts on this bombshell delivered by President Obama yesterday. You know, it’s one thing when someone says something wrong simply because they had incorrect information. But, it is quite another when someone just outright lies to your face. Or maybe he’s just high. If that’s the case, I’ll have what he’s having. That stuff must be good.

The last U.S. combat brigade has left Iraq two weeks ahead of their planned withdrawal at the end of the month. But a fifty thousand-strong American military contingent will remain in the country for support and training until the end of 2011. They'll have the power to use their weapons in self-defense or at the request of the Iraqi government. Over seven years of being in Iraq, more than four thousand U.S. soldiers have died, according to the Pentagon.
The number: Initial jobless claims have surged to 500K. This is worse than expected, and establishes a clear negative trend. Several weeks ago, this number had seemed to stall out around 450K, but now that's just a memory, as the direction is definitely upward.

So I figured a song was appropriate as a call to action.

Once again Rand Paul was kind enough to agree to be interviewed by Liberty Maven as the latest and perhaps greatest money bomb of his campaign approaches.
From fairinwar on YouTube:
Alex welcomes back Congressman Ron Paul to the show to discuss the latest on Iran, legislation in the house, and more. Dr. Paul is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. During the 1960s, he served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. Ron Paul also addresses rumors about a 2012 run for President.
This video shows how out of touch Obama is with reality. Look at the amount of chaos he caused in LA, all for a mere fundraiser.
Starting at 11pm EDT / 8pm PDT, results will start being posted here:

Two years ago, during my annual trek through the Republican bastion of Central Washington, I saw a bumper crop of campaign signs touting Dino Rossi for governor. Signs promoting Democrat Chris Gregoire were rare as orchids.
This year, with Rossi running for the U.S. Senate, I didn't see even a single sign bearing his name. Instead, Clint Didier's name was everywhere. The favored candidate of Sarah Palin and Tea Party enthusiasts, Didier is not supposed to stand a chance against Rossi in the state's August 17th primary. But you wouldn't guess that on a drive down the roads between Omak and the Tri-Cities. All those signs make it look like Didier country all the way.
People who may or may not be Muslim purchased property. "Private property" as some like to say. It is an abandoned Burlington Coat Factory, about 2 blocks from Ground Zero.
You all are being led down the "divide and conquer" primrose path. Two threads just this morning that continue to spout the media lie, here at the DP... There was a day that these threads would have been immediately debunked and the poster cyber-flogged for not fact checking.
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished. But it won't win elections or get media play, so I guess there is no place for it here any more?
