Two U.S. B-2 Spirit stealth bombers are being deployed to Europe for the first time. The deployment of the advanced aircraft will be used for “short term deployment” at Fairford, a Royal Air Force base in England — just three hours from Russia.

“This deployment of strategic bombers provides an invaluable opportunity to strengthen and improve interoperability with our allies and partners,” said Adm. Cecil Haney, commander of U.S. Strategic Command, CNN reported Tuesday.

Huge Victory For Tea Party: House Majority Leader Cantor Defeated In Primary!

David Brat election results

Throughout his entire career, Eric Cantor has supported countless measures and budgets to increase our debt and grow government. Despite his fiscal rhetoric, Eric Cantor voted for new spending measures like Medicare Part D, TARP bailouts, Chinese bailouts, Wall Street bailouts, two unfunded wars, and backed the kick-the-can-down-the-road Ryan-Murray budget.

David Brad goes after unfunded wars and NSA illegal spying on Americans siding with Amash

The man who just beat Cantor, Dave Brat, has taken a different tack on surveillance issues. In a recent interview with the Richmond Times-Dispatch, he argued that "The NSA’s indiscriminate collection of data on all Americans is a disturbing violation of our Fourth Amendment right to privacy." On his website, Brat says he favors "the end of bulk phone and email data collection by the NSA."'

Police: Armed Civilian Who Confronted Las Vegas Attackers Is a 'Hero'

When Jerad and Amanda Miller arrived at Wal-Mart after killing two police officers at CiCi's Pizza, they were confronted by concealed carry permit holder Joseph Robert Wilcox, whom police describe as a "hero."

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, a police official said 31-year-old Wilcox "was legally carrying a concealed pistol" and confronted Jerad without knowing Amanda was with him.

Amanda "was pushing a shopping cart" and "lying in wait" for Wilcox. She got in "behind Wilcox and shot him at close range."

Rand Paul to Hillary: Take Your 'Sad Song' of Financial Difficulties to the American People

10 Jun 2014, 9:14 AM PDT

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) criticized former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for complaining that she was “dead broke” after they left the White House.

“I mean, there is a lot of Americans struggling, if she wants to come to Eastern Kentucky to my state and talk to miners who are out of work and see the despair in their faces and talk about her personal plight as being the poor spouse of a president, she is welcome to take that message around the country,” Paul explained.

Inconvenient Truth about the Civil Rights Movement: They were ARMED! So said on NPR - June 5, 2014!

This Nonviolent Stuff'll Get You Killed: How Guns Made the Civil Rights Movement Possible
by Charles E. Cobb, Jr.
Hardcover, 294 pages

This year marks the 50th anniversary of many pivotal events in the civil rights movement, and to commemorate "Freedom Summer," Tell Me More is diving into books that explore that theme.

One of the cornerstones of the civil rights movement was non-violent resistance. During lunch counter sit-ins and protest marches Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights leaders instructed participants not to take up arms. Instead, when violence erupted or force was used to disrupt their activities, people would non-violently resist attempts by law enforcement to end the protest.

But this passive resistance did not necessarily mean an unwillingness to use force to protect themselves from violence in other circumstances.

Business owners beware of Yelp!

A client recently shared a tale of woe with me. Her service-oriented business rather suddenly hand't been performing. Her business relies in great part on web marketing, SEO and social media outreach.

It seems she had some negative reviews on Yelp, a popular review website. One negative review she desicribes as being "legit", that she did make a mistake and miss an order from a customer. Another one never executed contract or made down payment and so there was no business done, no exchange of value. A third she simply has no idea or it's origin, no record of any business transacted.

U.S. in Talks with Snowden on Possible Plea Deal

June 10, 2014 5:00 am

Federal prosecutors recently held discussions with representatives of renegade National Security Agency (NSA) contractor Edward Snowden on a possible deal involving his return to the United States to face charges of stealing more than a million secret NSA documents, according to U.S. officials.

Snowden is currently in Moscow under Russian government protection after fleeing Hawaii, where he worked in NSA’s Kunia facility, for Hong Kong in May 2013. U.S. officials have charged him with stealing an estimated 1.7 million documents from NSA Net and the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) and providing some materials to news outlets.

Hillary Clinton on Rand Paul: "If He Runs, He'll Be Fair Game Too!"

David Corn of Mother Jones is already doing his "job" with his article 'Rand Paul's Woman Problem' in which he, for example, brings back our good old friend Aqua Buddha. Corn ends his hit piece with the following words:

"If Paul believes it's fair game to dredge up the personal past of Bill Clinton, he might prepare for similar vetting—particularly if he decides to run for president. Has he always shunned those with less-than-stellar private lives? Has he ever done anything shun-worthy himself? And will he be able to make Bill Clinton's old indiscretions more of an issue than his own current stances on policy matters directly affecting women?"

Waffle House denies NC waitress a $1,000 tip from 'angel'

RALEIGH - Shaina Brown works the late shift at Waffle House, serving cups of second-wind coffee to wobbly diners with butane breath.

After seven years, she’s learned to coax a good tip with a smile and quick refill. Even the barroom crowd will throw her $5 extra.

But nothing short of greasy spoon magic can explain what happened at 3 a.m. on Mother’s Day, when a patron eating a Texas bacon patty melt called Brown over and said, “I’m going to bless you tonight.”

Why Should Anyone Trust a Government That Kills, Maims, Tortures, Lies, Spies, Cheats, and Treats Its Citizens Like Criminals?

Why should anyone trust a government that kills, maims, tortures, lies, spies, cheats, and treats its own citizens like criminals?

To start with, what’s the rationale behind turning government agencies into military outposts?

What’s with all of the government agencies stockpiling hollow point bullets?

Why does the Postal Service need “assorted small arms ammunition”?

Why is the federal government distributing obscene amounts of military equipment, weapons and ammunition to police departments around the country?
