With all the discussion about how folks are going to comunicate when the SHTF there happens to be a new concept in the works. This new concept pairs one of the oldest forms of comunication transport with the best of today's advanced computer encryption and rewritable flash drive technology.
Recently there has been a lot of debate about what Dailypaul is. Is it another news aggregation site like Drudge? Does it serve a purpose? Is there any unified libertarian movement here? It is fun to watch users give ceremonial goodbyes and a rant or diatribe as to why they are leaving. I'm not sure why there are these dramatic Dailypaul exits but it is charming and characteristic that as people that support Ron Paul it appears we rarely leave quietly without some burst of self expression.
I gave my kids a bath about a half hour ago and put them in bed... normally my wife handles bath time, but my daughter's birthday is tomorrow and my wife ran out to get some last minute stuff for a small family gathering we'll host tomorrow night.
I set this goal when my wife left to run errands to try to do something to make her life a little easier before she got back. Bath time was a small thing... 15-20 minutes, not a ton of effort involved... but it made my wife smile and hey, that was the ultra-simple short-term goal.
He Supports All The Troops
He supports all the troops,
He's glad to see them go,
He fills them with patriotic fervor,
And sets their hearts aglow.
He conjures up a marching band,
He makes them all feel proud,
He tells them to take a stand,
And say the pledge aloud.
He tells them of the enemies,
Those filthy, evil foes,
Those foreign devils must be stopped,
And so his story goes.
Then they go in their prime,
To kill and fight and die,
Cut down before their time,
While loved ones wonder why.
His tales of glory,
Are just a story,
From forth his fetid breath,
They lead to sorrow,
And no tomorrow,
Just endless, dreaded death.

Here is his beautiful obituary:
He was one awesome dude and I loved him dearly. Ed was a master story teller like none other. He was a true patriot and was a Ron Paul/ Larry MacDonald supporter. Goodbye Ed....

what you have to say. Labels are earplugs, don't forget that.
Labels were designed by the elites to keep us separated from communicating different views with each other.
We are Americans with differing viewpoints, don't cut off the knowledge someone may receive by labeling them.
My wife filed for it last week, after only five years of marriage.
The fact is I do have personal issues that have made her unhappy for longer than she can handle.
She is a mother and I am a father. We must give each other happiness, first, for our kids' balance.
I love her with all my heart, and I know she is still my friend because she is very supportive of me for my taking better care of myself.
Once eyes open always be,
Sleep exists no more for me,
Matters not bargain or plea,
Phantom world i'll always see,
For some reason I just felt like I needed to write these words down. Don't really know why I was compelled to share.
(I'm not a poet -just thought I would throw that out there)
Can we PLEASE stop bombing the world?
I do not support it.
I do not like it.
I do not think it is necessary in any way, shape or form.
I do not want my (stolen) tax dollars to fund it.
I DO want it to STOP!!!
Anyone who's not heard of Senate Bill 2277 "the Russian Aggression Provocation (sic) Act (RAPA)" ought to get to know it and quick. Sponsored by Sen. Bob Corker, it is co-sponsored by twenty-six other senators, all Republicans. These are the men who would kill the world:

We just experienced quite a tremor down here in Chile. Don't know the magnitude, but we were without electricity for an hour. No broken plates, or anything.
I'll still take earthquakes over a welfare zombie apocalypse.
I was struck by something I read today, which spawned a conversation with a friend where thoughts poured out of me, and some of them are conveyed here. My views on addiction have changed significantly in the last two years, and I believe for the better. If you disagree, that is fine; I know I don't have everything figured out, and I know I still have an immeasurable amount of personal growth ahead of me. I wanted to share in case there is someone in a similar place to where I was a few years ago who would benefit.
Update: Dear Friends,
Thank you for your overwhelming support. In just two weeks, you helped raise $15,000 to keep the DP afloat until the end of the year. I will have a full update tomorrow on the number of contributors who made this possible.
Normally I send out thank you postcards, but this time I'm sending out the very first issue of the PEACE GOLD LOVE Letter with an update on the state of DP exclusively for members who donated. Watch your mailboxes in the latter half of September.
If you did not contribute, but would like to receive the first issue, there is still time. Make your contribution by September 1st and include an address and you'll receive a copy via US Post.
Thank you again for your contributions, and for making the DP such a special place.
People were asking me about it so here it is. About two and a half years ago I bought my first house. I was twenty one and I hadn't the slightest idea of what to do with the 0.2 acres it was on. Over the course of the next two years I figured out how to turn the 1600sqft of land that wasn't covered by concrete into a productive yet very low maintenance farm.
Early this morning I got a call, It was a friend I met here on the DP. "Hey! this is Charles, I'm not far away and coming by!". So, sporting a slight hangover I asked "Who"??? Lol. Turns out it was my four year DP buddy Charles Wood from Nevada.
Charles was the delegate chair from his county during the Ron Paul 2012 run. All the delegate votes from his county went to Ron Paul. Charles worked his butt off to make this happen. Some may remember that later the establishment GOP tried to rip off Nevada during the Caucus.
