Ron Paul makes sense on foreign policy

Ron Paul makes sense on foreign policy
By John Ferland
Monday, Oct. 3, 2011

In the most recent Republican presidential debate, former Sen. Rick Santorum attacked Rep. Ron Paul by saying he claimed Americans invited the attacks on 9-11. When Rudolph Giuliani made the same accusation in 2007, Paul responded with a reading list including the 9-11 Commission Report and the book Blowback by Chalmers Johnson.

Great New Video

First, I would like to thank Gabedagreat73 on Youtube for putting this video together. It really touched me and reminded me that while our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, friends and family are off fighting overseas to protect us. There is still a fight here at home that needs to be won. One where we are fighting for them. Please join me by posting below to support our troops and to keep fighting the battle here at home until everyone of them come back.

Please join me in standing and fighting for our Troops!

Now here is the video:

They fight for us, we must fight for them.

This is why I am involved, this message makes me proud to be a part of this movement. Here is the message of TRUE compassion, Truth and Integrity. Peace and Friendsip. I can't think of any other message that can bring the most Americans together than the one in this simple, thoughtful video.

They fight for us. Do not forget to fight for them.

QUESTION: We can all agree that the message represents us all. What part of our movement influences you the most?

Is it the wars? Monetary policy? The rule of law? What say you?

End the wars, bring the troops home and put an end to policing the world.

Dear friends,

I wanted to let you know about a new petition I created on We the People, a new feature on, and ask for your support. Will you add your name to mine? If this petition gets 5,000 signatures by October 22, 2011,
the White House will review it and respond!

We the People allows anyone to create and sign petitions asking the Obama Administration to take action on a range of issues. If a petition gets enough support, the Obama Administration will issue an official response.

You can view and sign the petition here:

Omaha World Herald - Paul: Bring U.S. Troops Home

COUNCIL BLUFFS — The Iowa campaign tour of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul didn't make it to Council Bluffs as planned Tuesday, but an estimated 200 at Iowa Western Community College cheered loudly as the Texas representative explained his views by telephone.

Because of mechanical problems on his plane, Paul spoke from a room at the Des Moines airport while waiting for another plane that would connect him with other cities on his schedule.

Ammo to fire back at the "Paul is an isolationist who blames America" crowd

So Glenn Beck was being an asshat and decided to post a video of a drunk Ron Paul supporter on his website and joke about it on the radio:
And you look through the comments and see the same "isolationist" BS that we've all seen before. I decided to take them on and attack militarism through the fiscal angle. If you saw my article that was frontpaged on Daily Paul back in January:

Ron Paul’s View On Foreign Occupations Supported By US Troops

Ignoring the facts, establishment media smears Congressman as “defending Al-Qaeda”

The establishment media is once again attempting to smear Ron Paul as anti-American following Paul’s simple observation during the debate last night that foreign occupations increase the risk of terrorist attacks, when in reality the Texan Congressman’s views are endorsed by US military personnel more than any other Republican candidate.

Ron Paul and 'the Troops'

By Robert Oscar Lopez

While driving through Nebraska on the way home to Los Angeles, I was out of music. I had listened to all the CDs I had. FM was a desert. I switched to AM radio and since it was a Saturday, the only talk show I could get was a reprise of Sean Hannity's best moments for the week.

US troops may stay in Afghanistan until 2024

The agreement would allow not only military trainers to stay to build up the Afghan army and police, but also American special forces soldiers and air power to remain.

The prospect of such a deal has already been met with anger among Afghanistan’s neighbours including, publicly, Iran and, privately, Pakistan.

It also risks being rejected by the Taliban and derailing any attempt to coax them to the negotiating table, according to one senior member of Hamid Karzai’s peace council.

Pop Quiz on a Card - Gets People Thinking - Ron Paul is the Answer

I have a Ron Paul Card idea designed to get someone to take a pop quiz on 2012 presidential politics that will get them thinking. The purpose is to engage the mind instantly and cause people to say...

Wow, I didn't realize that.

Here's the design. What you do you think? How would you change it.
