Make yourself sheep and the wolves will eat you -- Benjamin Franklin
Above quote from one of the founders of the Republic should be taken to heart by everyone.
We can't afford to "make ourselves sheep" by giving up - for instance as one member here said "I will no longer donate based on this lost debate".
This debate angers me as well as anyone(RP's limited time...) but at the same time prods me forward to work harder to help elect the good doctor to the highest office in the land of the brave and free.
What could we have expected of such a debate?

We need to finish what we started with the "Tea Party". We all know it was hijacked by the GOP and has since been watered down to nothing more than an organ of the Republican Neo-Con Party. Those of us that have been around since the beginning of the tea-party used to identify ourselves as tea-partiers but I believe very few of us still do. My point is look at how that movement attracted people that probably wouldn't have joined us if we had only used Ron Paul r3VOLution.
This is a great speech...
Its greatness transcends creed. It's great because this makes sense regardless of what your religious orientation is -- or isn't.
Its great because its something Ron Paul really believes -- It hasn't been "focused-grouped" or "psy-oped".
And yet the Fox News' reporter in the following video clip seemed perplexed that such a "live and let live" message could be tolerated, much less accepted....
Sam Antonio, producer of Liberty News Network, sits down with Doug Wead, senior advisor for the Ron Paul for President campaign at LPAC 2011 in Reno.
Doug Wead talks Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Ronald Reagan, McDonalds, and George Washington.

I have found the following blog to be very useful in my own research about liberty. I have also found it very useful when showing other people where to learn about it:
This is a great online reference:
I don't know the folks who run Libertypen, just think they do a great job is all.
I'm starting to get involved with the local OWS here and there's no way I'm going to let the unions and Soros' moveon.org members I'm seeing creep in to hijack this thing.
It's our duty as Liberty supporters not to hijack OWS, but to defend OUR movement's turf.
Just like with the tea party, OWS is trying to hijack OUR movement against the bankers and put a right-left spin on the whole thing so they can become the democrat's "booster club" just like how Tea Party Express and FreedomWorks have transformed the Liberty movement inspired tea party into the RNC's booster club.
This morning I read an article from Cnet.com that demonstrated the horror that we face if we elect people who are not liberty minded. The very idea that "pre-crime" can exist is a violation of the Bill of Rights and the rights to due process and to habeas corpus. Please read the article below and offer any thoughts. Then spread this post to all the people who are afraid of liberty. Maybe this will make them realize the threats we face.
I'm just asking, because if you read what some are posting on the DP, apparently there are Ron Paul supporters that have organized an occupation of a few Federal Reserve buildings for the past couple of weeks (that is, camped outside).
In my experience the DP is one of the first places I go to see what's going on in the liberty community, and I'd be just a bit surprised to learn that these actions were going on with nary a peep on the DP from the beginning.
These list of "grievances" comes from these people. When you read them, please note that they find almost no fault with the powerful central government that stomps on individual liberty.
-They have taken our houses through an illegal foreclosure process, despite not having the original mortgage. (Just another example of people not wanting to pay their bills or abide by legal contracts.)
While I care about 5% of what the socialist occupying wall street have to say, especially when they are spewing wealth redistribution/anti-liberty nonsense, it is important to note that they are in "solidarity" with Unions and, yes MoveOn.org.
Don't waste your time with these people.
The above link is from the Occupy Wall Street website. They are trying to vote on various demands. Go there and vote for the ones that support liberty, and vote against the anti-liberty items.
I'm sure by now everyone has heard of the #OccupyWallStreet protests, but media won't be reporting anytime soon on what happened today in Denver: (Hint: Fed-watchers perk up!)
I am pleased to release a new video dedicated to Ron Paul, his supporters, and his 2012 Campaign for President of the United States of America.
I believe Ron Paul is the only candidate in the 2012 Presidential race who knows what liberty means, and wants to help restore America to a Republic based on the ideas of freedom espoused by the Founders. This is a video of Ron Paul's life and his 2012 campaign for President. Pass the video on and comment. Also, make your own videos for Dr. Paul.
Let me know what you think. Enjoy!
The killing of Awlaki, an American, should give pause to anyone who cares about their liberty. But I’m mainly concerned with the conservatives here. Reason? Because what the conservatives supported during the Bush administration was consummated today: assassination of an American, without due process, or respect for the Anglo-Saxon tradition of trial before conviction.
