I worked on the Paul campaign in 2007/2008, raising funds, organizing a 500-strong city-wide Meetup group, planning and executing rallies and marches, holding sign-wavings, renting booths at festivals, and ignoring my wife and kids while I wrote essays and articles on various blogs about how great it would be if Ron Paul were President and why I supported him.
It’s a comic book industry first! Make your voice heard! This November, DECISION 2012 debuts the comic book industry’s first straw poll — with biographical comic books for all the top candidates in the 2012 Presidential race. If you want your candidate to win comic book's first straw poll, you need to call your local comic shop and pre-order your candidate's comic book before September 29th, 2011!
The Republican Party of Cuyahoga County, the county where Cleveland, Ohio is located, has an online straw poll for President. Someone within the Party has twice manually revised down the vote total for Ron Paul, purposely skewing the vote in favor of establishment candidates.
Please, please, please, go to the website and vote for Ron Paul. Share this link with everyone. Let's blow up the vote total to force them to take down the poll!
I heard there would be a straw poll taken at this event in NH on Thursday December 13th.
Remember we did very poor in their first presidential straw poll. This website is very illegal immigration oriented and there are a lot of neoconservatives here as well. Look at questions number 7 - 9 (especially 7) there was a lot of disrespect towards Ron Paul considering he's had the most Top 3 finishes in Republican Party straw polls out of ALL the canidates.
Ron Paul Wins Straw Poll in Allegheny County (Pittsburgh, PA)
Reported by: Tom Kawczynski
Today, I attended the Republican Committee of Allegheny County’s (Pittsburgh, PA) Annual Summer Picnic. The admission cost including lunch was $10 per person and $20 per family. Upon arriving at the event, I learned that a straw poll was being held there that was administered by the Plum Borough Republican Committee.
You've seen the video of Rep. Woods announcing the results of the poll, but here is most of the speech and a nice video of the picnic on August 18th. Please note the fellow who says he's a Democrat but will be voting for Ron because he wants 'lower taxes'. I say any Republican who can get Democrats to vote for lower taxes must be A-OK!
Ron Paul is an option to choose in questions number 5 and number 6. You will probably also want to abstain from choosing anybody in question number 7. After voting please forward this straw poll to other Ron Paul supporters that you know.
http://f2a.org/ has another poll - I don't know how long it will continue, I just found it and it says it is a daily poll but Paul is featured several places in the comments, but doesn't show up in the rankings.
Also, the WND article says she will be interviewing "the rest" (She already has done Hunter and Tancredo), so maybe a nice email asking when Ron Paul's interview is scheduled might be in order.
