awesomeness - just watch and share....
I came across this short, but important and professional Ron Paul relevant video on youtube tonight. It is about 2 and half minutes long and discusses the benefits of having an economically free country. The first thing that came to mind when I saw it was of course, Ron Paul. Considering this is precisely the platform that our man endorses, I thought it would be nice to share on the DP for those that haven't seen it. It's fairly new, so I hope it hasn't been posted before or seen by everyone already. Let me know what you think!
In the form of a simple question:
Then why hand them the victory by removing our own freedoms?
The author, Clarence Page, has his contact information at the end of the article. It's another one of those pieces condoning the destruction of the principle of insurance and personal responsibility. Then Page actually had the gall to say that Dr. Paul, of all people, "waxes vague" on the explanation to it. Clearly this author has done no research or independent thinking.
The author is completely unaware of how the free market corrects problems.

Let's be fair to U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas. Contrary to a widespread impression, the libertarian-minded Paul did not say during a recent Republican presidential debate that people without health insurance should be left to die. It is only his idea of "freedom" that might cause you to think so.
The importance of religion for freedom can not be underestimated. Many political philosophers a couple of hundred years ago figured that the first states were religious creations as in the god Bahl declared these rules as the rules of this society to live by. Think of ancient Israel. The ten commandments served both as a moral doctrine and as a legal doctrine. To break the laws of moses was to break the laws of the state. The authority of the state and the authority of God were identical to each other. This made the state extremely powerful.
Happening now on WallStreet in NYC, a large demonstration of Americans, mostly young, Protesting against the Big Banks, FED, Bailouts, New World Order and Liberty. Organized by several groups including Anonymous. Huge police presence....could be what Bloomberg was trying to accuse of coming riots in the streets. Peaceful protest with alot of protesters with large backpacks and sleeping bags. A girl from Spain is with the filmer and its interesting seeing her perspective. Some plan on staying on Wallstreet for a long time.
Posting these highlights for anybody who didn;t see

I want to cry after watching this!
I love Ron Paul!
Look I am very pro Ron´s ideas and that ofc is the most important thing here.
At the last election I was very hopeful into the end, but as I look at it now, Ron Paul or his ideas are so much more popular/influential now.
I think as I said back then is keep doing what you are doing, cause it is working. That said the morons that be, will use the media to ignore or if that does not work to attack Ron Paul.
Now anyone who has followed this knows this. Expect more exclusions, negativity etc. So since you know this all you need to do is hammer away and keep supporting this amazing man.
If the terrorists attack the United States because we're free, why do they attack Russia? Russia's an oligarchial oppressive state. Could it be because they are occupying and oppressing Muslims in Chechnya? Is the reason China has terror attacks because they're free or because they are oppressing and occupying the lands of the Muslim Uyghurs? Good questions to ask people who think "they hate us cause we're free"
Here in North Carolina we are facing some anti-gay/lesbian legislation that will re-write the NC constitution to exclude Gay/Lesbians from creating domestic partnerships. If you follow the money, the motivation seems to be the dissolution of domestic partnership coverage for the State Employee health insurance plan. I know paulites and liberty lovers alike believe marriage should not be regulated by the government, so we should stick up for those being disenfranchised by this legislation.
