The Green Thing

A good rebuttal for a common childish sentiment:

In the line at the store, the cashier told an older woman that she should bring her own grocery bags because plastic bags weren't good for the environment.

The woman apologized to him and explained, "We didn't have the green thing back in my day."

The clerk responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment."

He was right -- our generation didn't have the green thing in its day.

The Environment

I would encourage the campaign to address with more regularity the environment..very important .. a libertarian stance does not explain enough in this age of serious threats to the health of our eco systems..please ask ron to be more expansive in his plans to grow the econ as ell as preserve the place where we live..why is the daily paul group asleep on this issue... ron will not gather votes from people who know the issues because he does not detail a sound plan ..

A wonderful video on the impact of Economic Freedom

I came across this short, but important and professional Ron Paul relevant video on youtube tonight. It is about 2 and half minutes long and discusses the benefits of having an economically free country. The first thing that came to mind when I saw it was of course, Ron Paul. Considering this is precisely the platform that our man endorses, I thought it would be nice to share on the DP for those that haven't seen it. It's fairly new, so I hope it hasn't been posted before or seen by everyone already. Let me know what you think!

Fiat Currency = Environmental Destruction

I'm not a fan of the modern day environmental movement however I understand that it's very influential in the political and social world. What if we could use their influence to help us "kill the bank"?

Hear me out...

My idea is if we could show the "green" movement that Fiat currencies create environmental damage, we'd have another political ally on our side to end the banker's control of our planet.

So how does Fiat money hurt the environment?

Considering voting for Ron Paul but also worried.

i am considering voting for ron paul as i enjoy a few of his views on the most pressing issues our nation faces. friends of mine are appalled by this. they raise concerns over ron pauls stance on abortion, the environment, equal rights, and taxes.

i was linked to a '10 reasons not to vote for ron paul' article and some of those reasons are alarming to me. however, i also feel that the most pressing issues of our nation have little to do with abortion and affirmative action and more to do with our debt, overseas spending, and the monetary system.

Ron Paul & The Environment

by Sleeping Native Productions

Overcoming the widely-held objections and concerns over Congressman Ron Paul’s lack of a "properly recognized" stance on the environment is a charge which, if ably addressed, could easily turn the tide from the left and make all the difference to his Presidential bid for the White House in '08. Whether or not you harbor personal doubts concerning the reality of Global Warming for yourself, the fact remains that an overwhelming majority of the voting populace, particularly amongst the left, are as convinced of its reality as we are.
