• Rand, the neo-conservatives

Rand, the neo-conservatives have shown no history of changing their core beliefs that your father spoke of from the house floor on July 13th, 2003 during his speech "NeoConned" where he differentiated the differences between true conservatism and the neo-conservative movement. Unfortunately, these core beliefs remain intact in all their actions today in 2012. Knowing that they still control the vast majority of the RNC and have demonstrated that they are very unlikely to change their agenda, aren't you being short-sighted in endorsing a neo-conservative like Mitt Romney which hands them more political capital?

Afterall, the neo-conservatives have already demonstrated that they are happy to use any new found success brought to them to continually grow the welfare/warfare state. A great example of this was the rise in the RNC from the christian coalilition. While one can argue how much or how little success the christian coalition actually achieved for its own goals with abortion being a main focal point for the organization, it's clear the neo-conservatives used this new found political capital as an opportunity to merge with this new found passion swell the size of the state.

This is the clear track record at hand of the neo-conservatives that we have had to all suffer under, so wouldn't we better off not to endorse Mitt and to continue to promote limited government? A message of limited government unites people, backing the status quo does not.

    Thanks,
    Adam

  • and the RNC is for liberty?

and the RNC is for liberty? /facepalm

Take Ron out of the RNC and its a sad, sad picture of statist policing the world and outspending anyone in their way.

In 1988 Ron was light years ahead of many people when he saw the LP as a great choice for promoting individual liberty with their great party platform.

Ron's R3volution does not mean RNC. In fact the RNC will most likely be the last ones to give up on the state IMO with all their welfare and warfare. As Ron said it will be seen in all parties as its a reflection by all the people.

  • No - Rand is a good guy but I

No - Rand is a good guy but I will not if he teams up with a neo-con who will only use his political capital to continue to push neo-con Ideas.

That is what Romney will do ... we all know that.

  • Agreed he is wrong

    Agreed he is wrong.

If we sell out to the neo-cons running the RNC like the christian coalition did what we we gain?

    Little if anything.

Until the Neo-cons are not running the RNC its foolish to hand them more political capital to help them further their agendas and expect we will see any meaningful change at the same time.

The Neo-cons who prominently run the RNC in all corners would love to have us add political capital to their causes. After all, they have a lot of statist agenda to push through under the false flag true conservatism rhetoric.

Jack never points out the christian collation actually assisted the neo-conservative movement which saw little gains for their own agenda. #1 issue abortion and nothing changed. But they were used time and time again to vote for all the governmental growth and played the fools for the Neo-cons calling the shots in the RNC.

I will have no part in that.

  • Romney is trash deal with it

Romney is trash deal with it

  • Rand Paul making a deal on

Rand Paul making a deal on pot is promoting individual liberty on something the Feds have no power to regulate.

Rand Paul endorsing Romney and his neo-con ways is a sell out to our push for peace, limited government and prosperity.

    Romney is trash

  • Mitt Romney wants to audit

Mitt Romney wants to audit the fed .... sure rand ;)

    Put the pipe down

Happy to we're he screws up.

Justin last week voted for "Unlimited military support for Israel" 414-2

Only Ron and one other had the courage to stand up.

Amash is no Ron Paul either

Just back the neo-cons it will all get better

  • Time to see which Ron Paul

Time to see which Ron Paul supporters will play along with any Neo-conservative endorsement while at the same time hoping one of the scum bags like Romney will bring change.

  • I have a more believable

I have a more believable conspiracy theory.

Rand Paul backs the status quo by endorsing Mitt.

2016 Rand endorses Jeb Bush while at the same time trying to convince people that voting for a neo-con will lead to meaningful change

    Just vote for the "R"

  • 2016 Rand Paul endorses Jeb

2016 Rand Paul endorses Jeb Bush!!!

    Woot!!

Wait a minute ... Will people still take him serious in trying to promote limited government.??

Just back the RNC neo-con candidate

    /facepalm

  • 2016 Rand Paul endorses Jeb

2016 Rand Paul endorses Jeb Bush!!!

    What?!?!?
We will still look creditable in promoting individual liberty right??

    ..
    .
Glad you guys see how foolish we would look too when
    We back any RNC nominee.

  • Anyone who thinks we can

Anyone who thinks we can reform a gang of morally bankrupt criminals in the RNC is crazy. We might get a win here and there but the big money corporations who run this show are going to keep their strangle hold on both parties.

We gain nothing by supporting Romney. We will be mocked and rightfully scolded for backing a neo-con poster child like him.

  • Rand Paul is a politician and

Rand Paul is a politician and I cannot think of a worse thing to call somebody.

  • TY guys! Jonas is a true

    TY guys!

Jonas is a true promoter of the liberty message. In fact, the first time I met him was on a trip to FreedomFest in Las Vegas to meet Ron Paul in July of 2009.

Here is a great photo of him at FreedomFest in 2009 with Dr. Paul.

  • Right There are a lot of

    Right

There are a lot of ways to say it simple and preciously.

Regardless of how it comes out of Dr. Paul, we have to have him bringing up some sound bite answers to these issues. Plus, we need to keep it going strong for the next month and beyond since this is the establishments favorite area to attack Dr. Paul. I love how Doug Weed conveys these messages too. They come across as well spoken as anyone in the business when he speaks on them.
