Top Slot is good and my sense is that the disgruntled, anti-Rino, protest vote is strong here in Richmond, while the evangelicalism will play well in rural western/south-western Virginia. The party hacks did push through a loyalty oath, suggesting voters must support the Republican nominee (NOBODY BUT PAUL). I'm curious if this will hinder the Blue Republican outreach here in Virginia. I accept Lysander Spooner's view that an oath taken to a band of criminals is no oath at all, but I'm not as comfortable asking friends to do so.

I like the meme of Virginia as Thunderdome -

  • SuperBrochures at a Gun Show in Richmond - Newt Guy Was there

This member handed out, say, three-hundred Super Brochures at a gunshow in Richmond (RVA!) on Sunday. Nothing worth mentioning about that except -- DAMMIT -- buy a stack and hand them out at the gunshows in your city.

also, there was a Newt guy collecting signatures who caught so much flak that he left after about thirty minutes. It was humorous to see, fo real, a dozen people berate the guy for supporting a man who supported a national registry of firearms owners and "Gun Free" school zones and then gladly take the RP lit. Great Fun -- Have some yourself!

  • HR459 Sticky - As Third Post

Called my Rep, Eric Cantor today; he was one of the last Republicans to co-sponsor in the 111th Congress. Also please consider calling the members of the House committee and sub-committee the bill was referred to:

    Republicans
Chair: Rep. Patrick T. McHenry (NC-10)
Vice Chair: Rep. Frank Guinta (NH-1)
    Anna Marie Buerkle (NY-25)
    Justin Amash (MI-3)
    Pat Meehan (PA-7)

Be polite, be nice, be specific.

I wonder if the editor would consider posting this thread as a sticky, not at the top, but, say, third from the top. Just a thought.
