Obvious truths as clear as black and white are few and far between. Among the most recognizable and easily apparent of these truths is that we are all equal sovereign individuals endowed at birth with our sovereignty Rights. Our founders made it clear that Government's purpose is to protect and defend these rights and by violating those Rights a Government ceases to be valid. The increasingly painful truth that Government officials consistently violate the oath of office has become my utmost concern for my future well-being and safety.
"What happened? Does anybody know? What happened? Where did America Go"
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.Luke 17:20-21
Please do not misinterpret what I say, I'm a big fan of 1984 and believe in Orwell's message to America. However, contrary to 1984's vision of a robotic police and surveillance state, technology has liberated far more people than it has enslaved.
If you had $1000.00 to spend on food/water storage what would you buy?
I'm just starting the research and I would love to hear anyone's opinions or ideas.
The smart move looks like buying a IBC Intermediate Bulk Container for water storage and canning/freezing homemade food. Peanut Butter and canned meats are also a good idea for storing food.
Or I could kill two birds with one stone and build an aquaponics system.
What else would you all do?
Thank God I'm an American blessed to live in this great country with a Constitution designed to protect my God given Rights. People often complain about their country here but I stand by the best country in the world, my country, America.
Some outsiders have tried to label Libertarians as people who hate their country but that couldn't be farther from the truth in my case. I love this country; Who else loves their country?
Are you proud to be an American?
I've never been inclined to believe in reincarnation, but I've read that there is a lot of good evidence that reincarnation is possible. (http://reluctant-messenger.com/reincarnation-proof.htm)
I read an essay called "The Egg" by Andy Weir and it blew my mind. It essentially states the possibility that we could all be the same person reincarnated over and over. Karma?
It's quite an amazing idea that I would be fascinated to hear anyone's thoughts and opinion.
You were on your way home when you died.
Rand Paul didn't cause such a stir all by himself. While he bore the brunt of the load, We the People had quite an impact on the attention Dr. Paul received using our keyboards and cell phones. I believe that without such an outpouring of interest and support through information technology the effects of Rand's filibuster wouldn't have had such an impact. Look at what we helped accomplish with our keyboards; Rush Limbaugh, Chris Mathews, and many others are embracing the message of liberty and spreading it across the land.
"You ever feel cursed coach? Like no matter what inside you're heart you feel that you're gonna lose, like somethings hanging over you like a witch or... a demon... just.. You cant win. I feel like that all the time, even win things are going good. When we're winning it's there, and when we're losing it's there. - Mike Winchell Friday Night Lights"
I am a strong believer in the Cosmological Argument for God. In short, the argument contends that the universe was created by design, or as if someone designed it for us giving us clues inside His creation. I notice several things in life that I believe are clues to God like the cells in our bodies. Each cell is free and independent, cells come in many different makes and models and perform many different functions. The cells spontaneously organize and create different organs that struggle with one another but work together to take care of a greater organism than itself.
Drew Martin telling it like it is. Listen up folks, be nice to noobs! I agree with Drew and GB, welcome the new guys! (Including GB)
"As a movement it’s imperative we ask ourselves a serious question: Are we more interested in maintaining a personal sense of moral superiority to those who don’t always agree with us or is our primary goal to substantively change policy and turn our ideals into tangible reality?"
Wolves were once a great enemy to humans but now they are ancestors to our best friends. Pigs used to be ferocious wild hogs but humans domesticated the animals by herding and selectively breeding the animals until the species were more manageable.
People throw around the word "sheeple" often here, and with MSM lies, fluoride in water, indoctrinating schools, tyrannical Governments, and even more tyrannical shadow governments I can see that these "sheeple" are real.
I welcome you to the rEVOLution, others can speak for themselves. I am optimistic and excited to see an established political analyst pursuing the cause of liberty. Others are still angry over some of the names you've called Libertarians over the years.
