Alex Jones on Nearly Every Commercial Break Today on the History Channel

I know, I know. Shouldn't even be watching this questionable channel. But I am a sucker for Modern Marvels and a few other shows not actually pertaining to history on that channel.

I've been doing my Taxes (Ugh) while having History Channel on in the background for the last 5 hours or so. I have seen Alex Jones nearly every commercial break talking about the NSA. I guess he is featured on an episode of "America's Book of Secrets" about Big Brother.

MSNBC's Ronan Farrow Daily Beaten in Time Slot by Golden Girls Reruns

"Ronan Farrow’s MSNBC talk show is facing cancellation amid poor ratings. Farrow, 28 — the opinionated, blue-eyed son of actress Mia Farrow and either Woody Allen or Frank Sinatra (even Farrow’s not sure which) — has been a disaster for MSNBC. The channel took the frequent cable-show guest and handed him his own program, “Ronan Farrow Daily,” which premiered in late February.

Judge Koh in Apple vs. Samsung Case Makes Questionable Judgement Call

'Samsung is objecting to a video created by the Federal Judicial Center called "How patents work," which is designed to help jurors wrap their heads around the often-complex and confusing U.S. patent system. But as Samsung's legal team noted, "at the 2:55 mark, a series of Apple products are shown, including an iPad, a newer model of a laptop computer, and an iPhone. The narration during this portion of the video addresses how the disclosure of a patent may 'inspire new inventions.'"

Online Gambling Targeted Once Again - Guess who?

There has got to be more important stuff to be spending time, money, and resources on then yet again trying to limit my freedoms. Your good ol' pals Lindsey Graham and Jason Chaffetz are at it again, this time targeting online gambling.

"New bill to prohibit Internet gambling, including where already legal"

"Raise the minimum wage to decrease welfare"?

I decided to go to the grocery store this morning to see if I was too late for girl scout cookies, instead I was approached by an older gray bearded man petitioning (with his desk and clipboard) for what he described as "decreasing welfare".

This of course caught my ear, so I stopped to see what he was doing. It was not until then that I noticed his huge neon poster board that said "Raise the minimum wage to Decrease Welfare". Of course this sounded ass-backwards to me, so I kindly asked him "wouldn't raising the minimum wage increase welfare?"

Peter Lanza: "Adam was a fan of Ron Paul"

Smear campaign??? Once again cannot believe this has not been posted. I am just as guilty as anyone. Ron Paul is getting smeared by Peter Lanza with his recent interview with the media. I just heard on LA radio, that Adam was a big Ron Paul fan and it is pasted all over the internet. This is sad and pathetic and I believe there is someone/something behind this connection they are trying to make.

Rand Paul and Rep. Ted Poe Introduce Constitutional Check and Balance Act

I searched everywhere on DP, Pretty sad this has not been posted yet, I am as guilty as anyone. I guess people care more about about Bill Kristol in the news. Whatever.

This is absolutely promising and I hope he at least gets attention for the effort!

Big blow to California Gun Restrictions!

The California concealed carry law has been tossed by a Federal appeals court. It will now be left to the counties to decide permit requirements. A healthy step in the right direction for once here in California!

Conan Cracks Unfunny Rand Paul Joke

On Tonight's(July 4th, originally aired 4/17)Conan, during his monologue, he cracks a Rand Paul joke. Not a peep from the crowd(Wouldn't expect one). I barely understood the joke. I hope someone can help me out. Haha.

Really surprised Conan is even talking about him and surprised it wasn't posted back in April. Guess nobody else watches this show either. Exposure is good, and not one boo from the audience.

Ron Paul mentioned twice on Comedy Central's Kroll Show

I thought as my first contribution to the good people at the Daily Paul, I would cheer everyone up. Don't know if anyone watches Kroll Show on CC or knows Nick Kroll from The League on FX, but a skit in his new show namedrops Ron Paul a couple times. It's not necessarily praising him, but it got me excited and also sparked an entire conversation on RP with my 9 relatives. Pretty cool!!
