• Not free but you

could share a home network attached storage on a dynamic dns address for an easy solution. I use a synology which has android apps and players available for free. Some routers will let you attach the drive by usb and act as a nas for the same effect. Then of course you could manually share them with a home server built on linux or windows. The easiest way is probably a synology or qnap nas which will do what you need right out of the box as well as all kinds of other things as well, basically private cloud. I have all my music anywhere and connect to stereos via bluetooth.

  • What's next?

We will be required to leave our front doors wide open so the police don't have to break in?

  • This might

be the most incorrect description of monetary mechanics that I've ever read on this site and frankly I'm shocked that you could even believe it. It takes massive amounts of labor, time, resources, and research to get that oil out of the ground before it's even refined and usable, then has to be delivered by machinery that also requires more labor and resources. Unlimited could quite possibly be the most ridiculous assertion ever of oil or gas. By your description gold is unlimited as well since it's in the earth nearly everywhere to some degree if we disregard all the skill and labor it takes to make it usable.

The other problem is that the supply of gold doesn't need to grow to match anything, it's valued against all other resources in a market economy and it's value rises and falls just like the supply of oranges. Especially when it can be digitally represented in almost any amount. A gold backed credit card could easily use 1/100th of an ounce to pay for something.

  • I've had it

with this bullshit, I already haven't flown in years....I used to all the time. Now exit pods. I am going to end up never flying again and it's cut me off from my family and some friends. This is evil and I've had enough of it. Anger level red.

he has to make it through a primary with mostly older neocon voters who love Bush.

  • This

is exactly what I would expect him to say. He made sense and left himself an out. He still has to make it through a primary where the voters are mostly elderly neocons. He's looking to become president and if that's the goal he has to avoid headlines like:

Rand paul says he would bring terrorists to the US.
Rand Paul agrees with Obama on Gitmo.
Rand Paul, the terrorist's best friend.

    Etc.

Either he's looking for higher office or he's not and McCain, Santorum, possibly Romney, etc are all ready to pounce on anything he says. If he wants to derail it all right now, then he could just say close Gitmo and the voters will disregard him as a possible candidate while fox news burns him at the stake.

  • Not too

good I guess for Libertarians, it seems that each question led me to move the slider to the opposite side somewhat. I ended up with a 5 which says I'm just as likely to support the status quo as to oppose it, moderate. I'm rarely called moderate.

  • Sure

a perfect model of socialism. An all knowing guy gives free shit to everyone around the world as long as they are obedient. The goods of course are produced by an army of small slaves who live in an environment devoid of resources yet come up with it somehow. Any child who learns basic economics would know that it could never function in reality. It's a shame that many 50 years old liberals never make it that far. The story could be made more realistic by adding death camps I suppose.

  • False premise

I doubt more than a small fraction of people here believe there will be a short term "dollar crash". The same ones that think there will be marshall law by Christmas. Could it happen, sure.....will it happen? Highly unlikely.
